Dr. Scott A. Zager

He then received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he received the Dr. And Mrs. Henry G. Schwartz Medical Student Scholarship. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of California, San Diego and his Cardiology Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he received the Fellow of the Year Award. After completing his medical training, Dr. Zager joined Cabrillo Cardiology Medical Group in 1994. He served for many years as the Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard and is currently the Chairman of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Zager practices general and invasive Cardiology and is Board Certified in the field of Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Zager is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized, and state of the art care to his patients. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is a avid skier and loves to travel.
